Meet the Psychologist
Kay has worked in private practice for many years in Melbourne and rural Victoria. She has strong passion for people and assisting them to meet their goals in therapy. Her main areas of interest are anxiety, ADHD, social anxiety, ASD, trauma, addiction, social anxiety, BPD, grief and loss, adjustment to parenthood and psychotic disorders. Prior to working in private practice Kay worked in public drug and alcohol services.
“It was here that I found my love for working with people experiencing trauma, ADHD and addiction. The more clients I had with these challenges the more I wanted to understand the links between these mental health concerns and the impact on behaviour and life in general. I love the foundation I built working in publicly funded roles and try to bring the same level of care and values into my private practice.
My main goal when working with people is to help build self acceptance and the confidence to be themselves. I am genuinely curious to get to know people as individuals, while also acknowledging the experiences common to all people as human beings. I do my best to avoid judgements of others and like to find the deeper causes of behaviour.
I also provide clinical supervision to psychologists and AOD workers and enjoy supporting other clinicians no matter what the modality or background.

FAQs
What services do you offer?
1
Psychological treatment is tailored to your needs with the psychologist drawing on a number of different evidence based treatment modalities. All sessions are currently offered online and can be accessed from the privacy of your own home, workplace or anywhere (just not while you’re driving!). This reduces the stress of getting too and from sessions, arranging child care, sitting in a waiting room or worrying about the cost of travel. This is particularly helpful for people in rural areas or taking part in rehabilitation programs.
